A physical comedy show for families that tells the story of any war. Or rather, the story of those who are protagonists in one.
Zepo went to war… And there she met another woman like herself, but different.
Two enemy soldiers face to face. The “bad guy” is the other. She is the stranger, the foreigner. But that’s how they both think. So what do we do?
Zepo and Zapo’s is a strange war, unlike those seen in movies or on television, because the protagonists don’t need to fire a shot to say, “Here I am, and I’m better than you,” or, conversely, “I’m worse than you.” They probably already know that words, looks, or gestures can wound more than weapons.
As their arguments, encounters, and disagreements unfold in this particular shared universe, something curious happens between the enemy soldiers. It’s a secret each keeps to herself, an unconfessed feeling: “Why are we enemies if we seem to like being together?” they wonder without saying aloud.
